Veteran PASOK member Giorgos Katsifaras, dies

Giorgos Katsifaras, a founding member of socialist PASOK and former minister, died yesterday at the age of 77.

Katsifaras, who served in five ministerial posts between 1981 and 1996, had been in hospital for kidney problems.
