Firefighters fight blazes, bring some under control
Firefighters were fighting blazes in various parts of the country on Tuesday, including fires in Florina, northern Greece, Petries on Evia and mount Othrys in Stylida, central Greece.
Another fire in Asprovalta in Thessaloniki was under control on Tuesday, similarly to blazes on Zakynthos, in Kala Nera, Pelion, central Greece and Karyneia, in eastern Mani, in the Peloponnese.
