Turkish foreign minister due to hold talks in Athens on Wednesday

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu is due to visit Athens on Wednesday for talks with Prime Minister Antonis Samaras and his counterpart Dimitris Avramopoulos.

The officials are expected to discuss preparations for the next talks between the countries in the form of the High-Level Cooperation Council, which is due to convene in Turkey next year. The conflict in Syria is also likely to be on the agenda for Wednesday?s meeting.
