Cocaine confiscated

Athens police yesterday showed journalists some 200 kilograms of cocaine that they confiscated at the end of a year-long operation involving drug enforcement agencies in Europe and the USA. Five Greeks have been arrested. ‘This case is considered one of the most important involving cocaine,’ security police chief Giorgos Angelakos said. ‘The amount is the largest ever found and confiscated in Greece. The khaki folded cap was worn before and during World War II and was reintroduced in 1978.
