Smoking ban upheld by Council of State
The Council of State on Friday ruled that a ban on smoking in restaurants, bars and clubs is in keeping with Greek law and the Constitution.
The ruling, delivered by the court?s fourth section, was a response to an appeal against the law lodged by 150 entrepreneurs and the Panhellenic Federation of Restaurants and Related Professions.
The smoking ban was passed in September 2010 but has been systematically flouted.
