Road tax to be purchased online
As of Wednesday, vehicle owners will be able to use the online TAXISnet system to purchase their road tax for next year.
Motorists will need either their TAXISnet code or their tax registration number (AFM) to enter the system and pay for the road tax that applies to their vehicle.
For the first time this year, authorities will not issue road tax stickers.
Instead, police patrol cars will be able to check electronically if motorists have paid their tax for 2013.
