Volunteer church restorer killed by debris

A volunteer worker in a church in Pella, northern Greece, was crushed on Monday by debris while demolishing a heavy icon screen, suffering fatal injures.

The 57-year-old had been helping in the renovation of the Aghios Georghios Church in the town of Aridaia.
