Students blockade vice rector in office
The vice rector of the University of Macedonia on Tuesday accused a group of students of blockading his office in protest at the reduction to four years of the maximum amount of time a student can stay at the institution’s subsidized dormitories.
Christos Constantatos told Skai TV that he was prevented from leaving his office for several hours, while other witnesses from the student and teaching body said that the protesters had used force, an accusation denied by a spokesperson for the group.
