Stavros Psomiadis released from Korydallos
Stavros Psomiadis – in Korydallos Prison since June on charges of money laundering, embezzlement from AEK soccer club and tax evasion – was released from temporary custody following a decision by a council of judges on Thursday.
He is accused of involvement in criminal activities with his father Makis Psomiadis, a businessman, Kavala soccer club owner and former AEK chairman at the heart of a match-fixing investigation, who is also being held in Korydallos.
