Probe to be launched into claims hospital closure caused 3 deaths
An Athens prosecutor on Tuesday ordered an investigation into a report by Eleftherotypia newspaper, which claimed that the closure of the children’s heart surgery clinic at the Aghia Sofia Hospital in the capital has led to three deaths.
Prosecutors will investigate whether the report is correct and if anyone should face felony charges in connection to the deaths.
