Farmers continue protests
Farmers on Friday continued to pressure the government to meet a string of demands, parking their tractors at key junctions in Kavala, Evros and Rodopi in northern Greece.
In central Greece, dozens of farmers gathered at the Lamia courthouse where 12 of their colleagues arrested earlier in the week over violent clashes with police were set to be tried. The trial was postponed until February 26.
Disgruntled farmers were planning to block the national highway at Kastro in Viotia from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday.
