State museums and sites to remain closed until March 19
State museums and archaeological sites are expected to remain closed until March 19 due to continuous industrial action by culture ministry employees. The latter are protesting the ministry’s new organizational chart.
The decision to continue a series of 24-hour rolling strikes was reached by public servants during a meeting on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, unionists were expected to evaluate the new reform plan and participate in a rally outside the National Archaeological Museum in central Athens at 11.30 a.m.
