More food products withdrawn after inspectors find horse DNA
The Hellenic Food Authority (EFET) on Tuesday ordered the withdrawal of several more products from the market after tests reportedly revealed that they contained traces of horse meat.
The products withdrawn include salami and tinned beef goods produced by Latvian and French companies.
The move came just a few days after the food watchdog found traces of horse meat in frozen burgers, frankfurter sausages and luncheon meat.
