Arsonists target Kedikoglou brother’s home again
A home-made explosive device went off outside the home of the brother of government spokeman Simos Kedikoglou in the Athens neighborhood of Strefi’s Hill late on Thursday, causing minor damage and no injuries.
“Cowardly attacks against relatives are outrageous,” the government spokesman said in a statement on Friday and called on all parties across the political spectrum to condemn the attack “without any discord this time.”
Giorgos Kedikoglou was first targeted on January 12 by unidentified assailants who broke a window at the entrance to his home and threw Molotov cocktails into the building. Kedikoglou, his wife and this three-year-old child had been in the house at the time but there were no injuries.
