Man feared drowned after dinghy sinks off southern coast of Crete
A 45-year-old man is missing, feared dead, off the southern coast of Crete after a dinghy he was sailing in on Sunday capsized in stormy seas.
Three other men in the boat were rescued and taken to the hospital. One was in intensive care.
The four men were attempting to reach the small island of Chrysi, also known as Gaidouronisi, south of Ieraptra.
A major search operation was launched after their boat sank.
