Rescuers try to haul car out of Taygetos ravine, driver feared dead

Rescue teams were on Monday attempting to recover a car that had tumbled into a 100-meter ravine in the Taygetos mountain range in the Peloponnese, and which contained an unidentified body, possibly that of the driver.

The car was discovered on Sunday evening by two hikers who suspected that there may be a body in it due to the odor and called the police.
