Central Athens community center comes under attack
The Myrmigi, or ‘Ant,’ community center in the central Athens suburb of Kypseli was firebombed early Friday.
Witnesses said two men on a motorcycle emptied flammable liquid at the entrance and then set it on fire.
The arson attack came just a few days after 80 to 100 suspected supporters of far-right Golden Dawn attacked a similar center in the suburb of Ilioupoli at a time when youngsters were reportedly having an English lesson.
