Limited public transport on Tuesday due to general strike
Public transport will be disrupted on Tuesday, when public and private sector unions will hold a general strike to protest the government’s latest reforms.
Buses and trolley buses will only be in service between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., while the Proastiakos suburban railway will not be running at all.
There will be no metro service to the airport. There has been no announcement yet on whether metro and electric railway services will be disrupted in any other way.
Air traffic controllers will hold a work stoppage between noon and 4 p.m., leading to flight disruption.
