Firefighters battle blazes in western Attica, Crete
Two fires kept the country’s firefighting force busy on Monday on the back of high temperatures and gusty winds.
Ten fire trucks and dozens of firefighters battled flames in the forest of Psatha, in Megara, western Attica, as well as in the Aghios Irinaios Gorge in the area of Castelli, in Hania, Crete.
