Woman injured by rock while driving on Crete
A woman was seriously injured on Sunday after a rock fell from a hillside near the Topolia tunnel in Hania, Crete.
The rock, weighing about 5 kilos, rolled down a mountain and hit the car’s sun roof.
Another three passengers escaped unscathed.
Reports on Monday said authorities have been installing a rock fence along the road after reports of landslides in the area, but the project has not yet been completed.
