Golden Dawn leader’s alleged driver, bodyguard arrested at home
A 26-year-old man who allegedly worked as a driver and bodyguard for Golden Dawn leader Nikos Michaloliakos was arrested at his home in Athens on Thursday.
Police said they acted on a tip off and found a stiletto knife, two smoke bombs and an air gin at the unnamed man’s property.
According to reports, the suspect had applied for a firearms license earlier this year but his request was rejected. He had claimed in his application that he worked for Michaloliakos.
