Council of State rules first round of civil service mobility unconstitutional
Greece’s highest administrative court has deemed unconstitutional the first round of a reserve scheme for civil servants announced in 2011.
The Council of State said that the scheme violates equality and meritocracy rights.
Any such scheme, judges said, should include an evaluation that also accounts for the operational needs of the departments in question.
