Heating oil suppliers say they will not start delivering fuel next week

Fuel suppliers said on Monday that they will not start selling heating oil on October 15 because of uncertainties surrounding its price and distribution.

The Federation of Fuel Service Station Dealers (OBE) said that consumers still do not know how much they will pay for heating oil and who will qualify for fuel benefits.

Delivery of heating oil was due to begin in just over a week. It was expected to cost about 1.30 euros per liter.
