23-year-old in critical condition following Athens bar fight
A 23-year-old employee at a club in the Athens suburb of Pangrati was in critical condition on Sunday after being hit by a stray bullet during a brawl.
Police suspect a fight broke out between fans of rival soccer clubs at an after-hours club at around 6 a.m. on Sunday.
The brawl spilled out onto central Ymittou Street, when one of the group pulled a gun and fired it, injuring the 23-year-old employee of the club.
Ten people have been taken in for questioning, including the person who fired the weapon.
