Oedipus…
Oedipus, at the end of his life, is flanked by his daughters, Antigone and Ismene, in the Theatro Technis production of ‘Oedipus at Colonus’ that opened this year’s Epidaurus Festival on Friday. Yiannis Voglis plays the title role. The play was directed by Mimis Kouyioumtzis for last year’s festival but was stopped by rain. Kouyioumtzis died earlier this year. The weekend performances were dedicated to him.
