The Turkish frigate Oruc Reis was being monitored by Greek authorities after entering Greek waters between the islands of Skyros and Evia on Tuesday night, the Hellenic National Defense General Staff (HNDGS) said on Wednesday.
The vessel, which was headed for the eastern Mediterranean from the Bosporus Strait, sailed into Greek waters shortly after 10.30 p.m. on Tuesday and re-entered international waters at 11 p.m., according to the HNDGS, which said that three Hellenic Navy boats were monitoring the course of the Turkish warship.
