Thessaloniki bus driver assaulted by fare dodgers
The 54-year-old driver of a Thessaloniki bus had to receive medical treatment on Thursday after being assaulted by three passengers who, he said, set upon him following an argument about their tickets.
The driver said he asked the trio to validate their tickets but they refused and a dispute followed which resulted in the men attacking him.
The assailants then got off the bus and fled on foot, he said.
