Police seek Faliro shooter
Police on Monday were seeking the occupants of a car that failed to stop for an inspection in Neo Faliro, southern Athens, prompting a shooting believed to have left at least one person injured.
Officers were called to the area after a burglary and tried to stop a suspicious-looking car. One of the assailants pulled out a gun, prompting officers to fire at the vehicle, which sped off.
No officers or passers-by were hurt but spots of blood were found in the car, which was discovered later nearby.
