Theodorakis rejects suggestion he run for Greek president
Veteran composer Mikis Theodorakis has rejected a suggestion by PASOK chief Evangelos Venizelos that he should run for Greek president in 2015.
Theodorakis, now 88, also attacked the deputy prime minister for seeking to implicate him in a “political game.”
In a statement, Theodorakis, a fierce critic of Greece’s bailout agreements, said it was inconceivable that the “servants” of the troika were trying to use him in order to solve their own problems.
