EOPYY adds one euro to every prescription
Greeks insured with the National Organization for Healthcare Provision (EOPYY) were expected to pay one extra euro per prescription starting on Wednesday.
According to a Health Ministry directive, the new measure did not apply to those suffering from long-term illnesses.
Pharmacists reacted to the new measure on Wednesday as they began collecting the new payment on behalf of EOPYY.
