Businessman Panos Germanos denies links to arms bribes
Businessman Panos Germanos, the former CEO of the Germanos retail chain, issued a statement on Thursday vehemently denying that he or any of his companies were linked to the ongoing investigation into arms procurements by the Greek state.
Germanos said that he was made aware that one of his firms was being investigated in the summer of 2012 and that he came forward to cooperate with authorities.
He also denied having any kind of relationship with the suspects named as part of the judicial probe into the alleged bribing of public officials.
