Hellenic Pasteur Institute raises alert over high flu rate
The flu is spreading at a worryingly high rate in Greece, according to the Hellenic Pasteur Institute, a nongovernment organization backed by the Health Ministry.
The institute said it had been monitoring the virus for seven weeks and that “it has spread widely across the country.”
It said it had received a large number of samples from patients with flu symptoms and that “many” of those have tested positive to the virus.
