Protesting farmers in southern Greece ramp up action

Farmers in the Peloponnese protesting new tax regulations on Wednesday barricaded the Public Power Corporation branch in Argos by stacking crates of oranges in front of the entrance, lined their tractors up in front of a branch of Piraeus Bank in Messini and drove a motorcade to Corinth that ended with several dozen tractors parked along the national highway.
