Eleven foreign nurses arrested in Piraeus over lack of paperwork

Police in Piraeus on Thursday arrested 11 foreign nationals, all women, who had allegedly been working as private nurses at a local hospital without the necessary paperwork.

The four Bulgarians, four Albanians and three Georgians were to face charges for failing to present nursing degrees and valid work permits, among other offenses.
