New Athens bus line links Piraeus port to Acropolis
A new express bus line linking Greece’s largest port in Piraeus with its biggest tourist attractions, the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum, was launched on Monday by the Athens Transport Organization (OASA).
The bus provides a cyclical route from Piraeus port’s cruise terminal to Syntagma Square in central Athens, with a total of nine stops along the way, including the Acropolis stop on Syngrou Avenue.
The service runs daily from 7 a.m., starting at Akti Xaveriou in Piraeus, to 9.30 p.m. at 30-minute intervals.
