Man arrested on child porn charges in Volos
Police in Volos, central Greece, on Wednesday arrested a 29-year-old man on charges of blackmailing minors and distributing child porn material on the Internet.
Authorities believe the suspect posed as an underage student on his Facebook profile and allegedly blackmailed underage girls into sending him nude photographs, in exchange for not posting other indecent images, already in his possession, on the social networking site.
Police officers who searched the suspect’s house discovered nude photographs of minors and other child porn material.
The suspect was expected to face a prosecutor on Wednesday.
