Free Wi-Fi at seven metro and ISAP stations

Commuters using Athens public transport can now benefit from free wireless Internet access at seven key stations on the metro and urban electric railway (ISAP) as part of a scheme that is to be extended across the network from the middle of next month.

WiFi will be available in ticket issuing areas and on the platforms at Syntagma, Panepistimio, Acropolis, Omonia, Piraeus, Neratziotissa and Doukissis Plakentias.

STASY, the company that manages fixed-track forms of public transport in Athens, is understood to be planning the gradual extension of the WiFi network to all stations on the metro and ISAP from July 15.
