Food authority recalls granola bars after salmonella is detected

The Hellenic Food Authority (EFET) on Wednesday recalled Canadian-made granola bars after tests on a sample of the product indicated that they were infected with salmonella.

The 36-gram snacks, which trade under the name MadeGood, are to be removed from supermarket shelves.

Consumers are advised to return the product to the retailer where it was purchased.
