Six people detained in Athens and Thessaloniki on Wednesday in connection to bank robberies and possible terrorist activity faced a prosecutor on Thursday.
The suspects, four Greek men, aged 23, 26 and 30, a Greek woman aged 25 and a 30-year-old Albanian national were detained following police searches of their homes.
During the raids, police officers discovered a Kalashnikov assault rifle, a handgun, a hand grenade and a number of bullets. One of the suspects had a forged identity card.
Meanwhile, Greek police on Thursday released photographs of the weapons and other items found in the possession of the six suspects.
