Wednesday’s public transport strike called off

Services on the Athens metro, the ISAP electric railway and the tram are to operate as normal on Wednesday after unionists representing the workers called off a planned work stoppage.

Unionists said they would continue to push the management of STASY, the company that operates fixed-track modes of public transport, for a new collective contract.
