Tsipras to meet central bank chief on Friday
Leftist opposition leader Alexis Tsipras will meet with Bank of Greece governor Yannis Stournaras on Friday, according to reports.
Tsipras, who reports said requested the meeting, wants to discuss the results of the recent European Central Bank stress tests that included the country’s four systemic lenders.
In comments made to Kathimerini, the central bank chief hailed the performance of Greek lenders, adding however that good results should not be the pretext for complacency.
