Lamia gun store owner shot in own shop by friend in apparent accident
A gun store owner was shot dead on Monday in his shop in Lamia, central Greece, by a friend in an apparent accident.
The 45-year-old doctor who shot the man told police that he was friends with the store owner and that his gun went off by accident when he visited the shop.
The 34-year-old victim was shot in the chest and was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.
The doctor had a license for his firearm. He is being held by police, who are investigating the incident.
