Police issues warning over bogus tax rebates emails
The Greek police’s cyber crime unit issued a warning over the weekend regarding a series of bogus e-mails addressed to taxpayers with regard to tax rebates.
The e-mails appeared to have been sent by the Finance Ministry and contain demands that taxpayers disclose private information and financial details in order to get money back from the state.
For more information, members of the public are invited to contact 11188, send an e-mail to [email protected] or use the iOs-android CyberKid application for smartphones.
