Deputies to return January salaries
A Greek Parliament finance committee has asked deputies to return their January salaries.
In a statement the House announced that while its activities were suspended in late December following a third fruitless election for president, January salaries had already been paid on December 23.
According to the financial committee, each deputy was expected to return the sum of 6,099 euros.
