Foreign minister invited to Beijing
Greece Zou Xiaoli met Monday with Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias (photo) and extended an invitation to the Greek diplomat to visit Beijing. The date of the visit will be arranged in due course.
Diplomatic sources said that a range of issues were discussed during the meeting, including the possibility of strengthening political, economic and cultural ties.
Kotzias informed the Chinese ambassador that Athens values its relationship with China highly.
The two men discussed economic cooperation and privatizations, while the Greek minister stressed the government’s “sensitivity to labor relations.”
