Four Italians receive organs of Greek student

Four Italian women have benefited from the organs of a 17-year-old Greek student who died after falling from a second-floor balcony in Rome earlier this month during a school trip to the Italian capital, Corriere della Sera reported on Thursday.

The woman’s heart went to an Italian girl, also aged 17, her liver to another young resident of the Italian capital, and her kidneys to another two women, the Italian daily reported.

The girl’s parents decided to donate their daughter’s organs after medics determined that she was brain dead.
