New Xeros safe house found near Athens, police say
Police have found another safe house they believed was used by November 17 member Christodoulos Xeros while he was on the run last year.
Xeros was recaptured in January after spending 12 months evading authorities. He had failed to return to Korydallos Prison from a 9-day furlough.
The alleged safe house is located some 30 kilometers west of Athens on the national road to Corinth. It is believed that this was the place where Xeros and his accomplices tested the explosive devices they were planning on using to help members of the Conspiracy of the Cells of Fire escape from Korydallos.
