Greek Rescue Squad…

Greek Rescue Squad members carried out a dramatic rescue exercise yesterday, crossing the Corinth Canal with a stretcher. The walls of the canal, which is 6.3 km (3.9 miles) in length and joins the Saronic and Corinthian gulfs, are 79 meters high in places. The Rescue Squad has carried out operations in Greece’s mountains and in the rubble of earthquakes.
