Motorcycle policemen gather round a priest yesterday at a memorial service on the spot in central Athens where one of their colleagues died late on Sunday while chasing a suspect on a motorcycle. Police said Panayiotis Dimos, 33, had drawn alongside the suspect when the man kicked him, unbalancing his bike and sending the officer to his death on the corner of Vassileos Constantinou and Pausanias St. The suspect escaped.
