Bank robber arrested
Bank robber Symeon Seisidis was arrested late on Friday in connection with an old case relating to an armed robbery in Nea Halkidona, northeastern Athens, in 2000.
The suspect has been linked to local anarchist circles and has been sentenced for robbery on several occasions, mostly suspended terms.
In 2010, he was seriously injured during an exchange of fire with police following an armed robbery, leading to one of his legs being amputated.
